TV mounting starts with compatibility: the screen size and weight, VESA pattern, mount type and actual wall support all have to agree. The visual location matters too, but the wall cannot be treated as decoration alone.

Mount Type, Viewing Position and Soundbar Alignment
Fixed mounts hold the TV close to the wall. Tilting mounts allow vertical angle adjustment. Articulating mounts extend and rotate, which increases the importance of support and clearance. The intended height and horizontal location should make sense relative to seating, nearby furniture and room use. A soundbar can mount to the wall, TV-mount accessory or furniture depending on the product. Its location should coordinate with the screen without blocking controls or connectors.
A fixed mount keeps the TV close to the wall. A tilting mount shifts the screen slightly outward. An articulating arm can move the television much farther from the wall, increasing leverage on the mounting points. The mount and wall therefore need to be considered together. Soundbar position can also influence the screen height. If the soundbar will sit under the TV on a separate bracket, the combined layout should be planned before the TV mount is finalized.
If the TV has side-facing or rear-facing ports, the mount position should leave enough room to connect cables without excessive bending. An ultra-close fixed mount can make connector access more difficult than an articulating mount.

Cable Routing & Electrical Boundaries
Visible cable organization can be part of setup. New in-wall electrical work or concealed power changes require a separate qualified scope.
