Assembly & Installation

Inversion Table Assembly in Champaign, IL

On this page

An inversion table has a frame, pivot or rotation system, locking components and user-adjustment parts. Assembly should follow the product configuration without turning a furniture-style build into medical advice.

Main Frame, Pivot & Locking Components

The base and frame establish the table geometry. Pivot and lock components should move and engage according to the manufacturer setup before the table is considered complete.

  • Main frame.
  • Pivot/rotation hardware.
  • Locking mechanism.
  • Ankle/support assemblies.
  • Handles.
  • Height/position adjustments.

Product Adjustments and Stable Placement

Normal assembly can include setting manufacturer-provided adjustment ranges. Choosing a therapeutic setting for a person's medical condition is outside the scope. The table should stand stably in its intended area and move through the product's normal range without obvious interference.

Repair or Other Fitness Equipment

A damaged lock, bent frame or failed component is repair/replacement-parts work rather than assembly.

Inversion Table Questions

Can the table be adjusted to my height?

Manufacturer-level height settings can be set during assembly; medical suitability is separate.

Does assembly include fixing a damaged locking system?

No.

Because inversion tables rely on pivots and locking positions, the final check should pay particular attention to whether those mechanisms engage positively and release through the normal manufacturer motion. A lock that feels uncertain should be treated as a product or repair issue rather than adjusted by improvisation.

The area around the table should also allow the frame to move through its intended range without contacting nearby furniture. That is a placement question, not a recommendation about how or whether a person should use the equipment.

If the table includes a fold-up storage position, the locking hardware should be checked in both the use and storage positions. The frame should not contact nearby furniture as it changes position.

The table should also sit on a floor area that allows the frame to remain stable through its normal movement. A visibly rocking base should be resolved before the product is considered assembled.
